Home POSTED AT 08:28 AM How do I summarize the past month? Hmm... it was something like this... airplane... bus... jeepney... walk... walk... walk... walk... walk.. walk... walk.. walk.. walk... walk... jeepney... bus... hahahaha..... Finally met Lexi, Anj, Pambs, Dandan, Peachy and Mikay. hehehe... The gods are against us? hehehehe... wala lang... I got to catch up with my old time friends in Manila too. I miss you all!! See you in December! 1 said what

pektyurs POSTED AT 08:29 AM pero mt. apo pictures first... wala lang... nakita ko lang kasing pakalat kalat sa basurahan so pinulot ko na lang... hehehe ....with the first batch of volunteers in mt. apo .... i just love this picture... wala lang... ... with the second batch of volunteers... the stairway of doom... hehehe... wala lang... i was in the tree post and i got bored... finally, a picture from sierra madre.. we crossed this river and many others like it riding our "flying jeepney" the mountain with a view of the pacific ocean... what more can you ask for other than a hot pan of pepperoni pizza? mga mukhang kawawa... you would look kawawa too if you've been walking for about 4 hours and you haven't had lunch... ah yessst... tabing ilog... we camped beside this river after walking for a day... housing.. hehehe... this is our real camp site... we stayed here for over a week... we had to walk for a day and a half to get there... the kitchen... oxerbing (observing)... hehehehe.... nakakaduling na yan after looking through the scope the whole day... daming trees... kaya tinawag na forest.... we surveyed for philippine eagles in two sites in dinapigue, isabela. like i said earlier, we had to walk for a day and a half to get to our first camp site. i didn't post pictures of our second camp site. you've seen one, you've seen them all. inabutan kami ni bagyong frank while we were in our first site, but it's all good. the second site was easy to get to. we rode a logging truck. what an experience! it's like riding a roller coaster with out all the safety precautions. then from the drop off, our camp was not more than an hour's walk. i had fun in sierra madre. i just absolutely love it there!! i have discovered my new favorite foods there - fern, eel, freshwater shrimps and deer tapa (bad! bad! hehehe). i went home with a gazillion pimples, a gazillion rashes from my allergy, and a gazillion cuts and wounds. but it was all worth it and i'd do it all again in a heartbeat! I LOVE SIERRA MADRE!!!! |

anti-social POSTED AT 08:47 AM i've been anti-social for the past weeks.. ewan... i just don't want people to fuss over me... of course, there are always exemptions. like my best friends, friends from high school, some friends who i met in heaven (gets?), and a couple of people from work. call me a snob. you can even call me a bitch. i am coming out in the open... i am anti-social... at least i am today. |

ADVISROY POSTED AT 08:12 AM and... wala lang... It was actually nice to see my cousin... heheheh... looks at previous post... shhhh..... He has long hair now. I don't think I like it as much as his clean cut. But then again, I'm biased to clean cuts. He was jamming with my brothers yesterday. He brought along his guitar. And he let us listen to a couple of songs he composed. It was so fun last night. They weren't talking. They were just strumming their guitars, while my younger brother shakes the rain stick and taps a tambourine. I'm still bitter about not being able to buy the kahon. grrr talaga ang Tita ko. We're planning to go tubing (Pinoy version of white water rafting) this Saturday. I hope I can come... Anyway, I have to go back to work now. Busy, busy, busy.... |
